I ’m babble out about Space Black , of course , which will be available on the higher - endMacBook Profor the first time and tone , candidly , absurdly cool . ( I ’m a sucker for the gloomier color palettes and sometimes marvel if the stunning Space Grey finish of the2018 iMac Prowas what pushed it up from 3.5 to 4 stars . I ’d care to think it was the redesigned thermal scheme , but look at the matching keyboard ! It ’s a thing of beauty . )
I ’d happily vote for Space Black filtering through to the entire Mac range , but based on the iMac Pro it ’s probable to be proceed back as a fringe benefit for the big spenders . As we all know , in Apple land entry - level buyers get bright colors , while the professional get graphite , titanium , and blues and purple so sedate and sensible they could get a chore in the British Civil Service .

So much for the laptop computer section . But the iMac ? Nothing doing , color - impudent . This seems a ignominy , particularly give the want of other upgrades .
