The iPhone does n’t even get announced at WWDC — well , not typically , anyway . But this year the running - up to WWDC is empty-headed with iPhone rumors , and Glenn and Susie are in a tizzy about two in particular . One is that we may finally see the oddment of the era when iPhone storage start out at a paltry 16 G . The other is that we may see the end of the tick - tock bicycle for iPhone upgrade — this year ’s iPhone is rumored to keep the same pattern - factor as the iPhone 6 and 6s , with a bigger redesign press out to 2017 .
Elsewhere , do n’t make billionaires furious . Do n’t buy into that study about rats getting Cancer the Crab from smartphone radiation therapy . Do n’t worry about that pathetic anti - encryption bill proposal , since it looks to be DOA . Do n’t be surprised if Apple buys a cable company someday . And do n’t miss the Macworld WWDC Happy Hour .
