Apple ’s forty-fifth day of remembrance was on April 1 but the company is n’t much into celebrating such occasions . They did n’t do anything major publicly , though there was a tweet from CEO Tim Cook ( who also sent amessage to Apple employees ) .
Here at Macworld , we took the chance to look back at Apple ’s Cartesian product history and plunk ourbestandworstproducts from the company . And of track , our dear readers had their own thinking on these leaning , agreeing with some of our choices , but also eager to point out where we get faulty . We , um , reallyweren’t expecting all the passion readers have for the iPod Socks . The list did post on April Fool ’s daytime , so perhaps the jest was on us ? I still remember the day Steve Jobsintroducedthe iPod Socks at an event in 2004 , when , sandwich between media members , we wait at each other , befuddle .
High praise for the Hi-Fi
We included the iPod Hi - Fi on our high-risk lean , and many of you were ready to come to its defence reaction . Yes , the iPod Hi - Fi produced good sound ( which I did n’t actually say in the tilt writeup ) , but I did taper out that it did n’t fathom as just as some of its competitors . ( And @delabaviere , Idohave the iPad Hi - Fi . The picture in the article is of my very own . )

Longtime Apple users are in almost unanimous agreement that the Apple USB Mouse — a.k.a the hockey puck mouse — is a bad product . I saidalmost .
Some think the Magic Mouse merit to be on the list .
