IDG World Expo says the upcomingMacworld Conference & Expowill be a show the great unwashed remember for years to come . hold at the Moscone Center in San Francisco , Calif. Macworld Expo will be in one hall this year instead of the two hallway the show normally occupies . Despite this show organizers say they are on raceway to have more exhibitor than last yr .
“ There is such a bombination that continues the momentum this year , ” IDG World Expo radical vice - Chief Executive Warwick Davies , told MacCentral . “ We have tot up so many more features than last class — this is going to be a really memorable issue . ”
In previous years , Macworld Expo has busy both the North and South Halls of the Moscone Center . The South Hall , where Apple , Adobe and other big name fellowship typically have their booths was not satiate to electrical capacity , so this year show organizers decided to fill one manse and bring all of the exhibitors together .
“ This year we are going to be paries - to - wall in the South Hall , ” said Davies . “ In total it will equal or be bigger than last year . ”
Last year the West Coast Macworld Expo had approximately 265 exhibitors attend the show in two Charles Martin Hall . For 2005 the exhibitioner list is over 250 and Davies says he expect to beat last year ’s number by the time the show starts .
Some of the events slated for Macworld Expo let in : Live on level training ; the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus ; the Games Pavilion ; MacLab session ; a Mac IT consequence that will focus on Apple ’s Mac OS X Tiger Server ; and of row , Steve Jobs ’ open keynote name and address .
Davies said that with all of the conference sessions and exhibitors at the show , this will be a Macworld to remember .
“ At Macworld people always remember things from different shows , ” said Davies . “ I really get a sense from the feedback we ’ve received that this is going to be a very memorable event . ”
