Ever have one of those moment where you download pic to your Mac and then erase the originals , only to find that some did n’t copy over ? Rather than curse or cry , just useKlix . Whether you ’ve deleted photos , reformatted your media card , or had a circuit card go bad , Klix recovers photos and movie filing cabinet despite the fatuous state your media wit seems to be in .
The software works with much any USB or FireWire camera or medium reader and can recover all popular image and video formatting . Just stick in the medium wag into your photographic camera or reader and connect it to your Mac , fire up Klix , click Start , and Klix begin scouring the card for confused photos and display its findings in the Image Recovery Window .
I shot a couple XII pic on a 1 GB Compact Flash card using two photographic camera , erased a few image on each , connect one camera to my Mac , deleted the rest of the images , and reformatted the menu . I then mounted the add-in using a media reader to see what Klix could find . For a few minutes , I watch the progress bar weirdy up without a single photo appearing and got really nervous when it attain the end . But it was n’t done yet . After another summons , images began to pop up .

First came all the injection I ’d just snapped — then come my Christmas photograph , my trip-up to New England from last pin , many-sided other snap , and even shots from a 2007 European vacation . But it save going … random JPEGs , TIFFs , Raw files , and QuickTime movie cropped up as far back as five years ago , when I shot a serial of prototype for a photographic camera inspection . It was a surprising slip down memory card lane — all 385 image deserving , though a few were incomplete or blank , which is to be expect . ( consort to JoeSoft , Klix will not convalesce pictures on xD memory cards after they ’ve been formatted in an Olympus or Fuji camera . )
When Klix is done , just drag and set down any thumbnail onto your screen background to deliver the file , or select what you want in the window and click Recover . I also unleashed Klix on an old Coyote State card just to see what used to be on it , and experienced the same giddiness as I watch out past memories resurface . While I did n’t have any corrupt cards to test , Klix worked amazingly well to recoup everything I think had been eradicated .
