Use the Option key
Accessing theSave Asoption is amazingly simple , and can be done without making any changes at all to your Mac . To regain the characteristic , open an app in which you need to use theSave Asfunction .
For this example we ’re in Pages , but the same should remain on-key for whichever particular app you ’re using .
Click onFilein the menu bar at the top of the page . You ’ll see thatSave Asdoesn’t seem , but there is theDuplicateoption rather .

To do up a new shortcut go toSystem Preferences > Keyboardthen tap theShortcutssection in the bar across the top of the window .
In the lefthand editorial you ’ll see a list , at the bottom of which should beApp Shortcuts . Click this .
Click the+button that now appears under the main panes , and a dialog box will open where you’re able to enter the details required to create the crosscut .
